Implements global procurement strategies on packaging ensuring effective supply of goods, adherence to global legislation and alignment to sustainability values, all whilst delivering the best commercial approach. Able to work with minimal supervision but also play a key role in the wider business and partner with the global supply chain.

Accountabilities:
1. Management of Procurement Process including sourcing and negotiation of all in scope indirect procurement activities from the China and APAC region, including but not limited to;
- Management of Procurement Process including sourcing and negotiation of Shop Fit
- Management of Procurement Process including sourcing and negotiation of Packaging
- Management of Procurement Process including sourcing and negotiation of Marketing Materia

2. Support the Line Manager in partnering with the business to develop and implement a category roadmap (including annual category plans and 2-5 year roadmap) in line with corporate policies to achieve business strategy and best value for money

3. Lead the packaging governance workstream – a cross functional team including sourcing, sustainability, finance and marketing who will work together to drive Clarks packaging category roadmap

4. Manage the selection, qualifying, approving and onboarding of suppliers for aligned business area to ensure appropriate supplier base who deliver to contractual agreement and outlined cost

5. Manage supplier contract renewals/terminations, performance via SRM program and negotiations with suppliers in the event of non-performance to ensure contracts are delivered on time and in full

6. Ensure Procurement Policy and guidelines are understood and consistently followed ensuring compliance and meeting statutory and regulatory compliance obligations

7. Complete and maintain category roadmaps to provide visibility of upcoming activities and ensure compliance to global sustainability policies and packaging legislation.

8. Complete all reporting requirements internal to procurement and with the functional commercial finance leads.
