Job Summary: The Overseas Sourcing Manager will be responsible for strategically identifying, evaluating, and managing a global network of manufacturers and suppliers, with a primary focus on ODM, ceramics/Glass/Stainless products. This role is critical to ensuring competitive pricing, high-quality standards, on-time delivery, and ethical sourcing practices. The successful candidate will drive cost savings, mitigate supply chain risks, and foster strong, long-term relationships with international partners.
Key Responsibilities: 61 Supplier Identification & Evaluation: o Proactively research and identify new overseas suppliers and manufacturers, particularly in Asia, aligning with company product development strategies. o Conduct thorough due diligence, including factory audits, capability assessments, and financial health checks, to ensure compliance with quality, social, and environmental standards. o Build and maintain a robust database of qualified suppliers. 61 Negotiation & Contract Management: o Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and lead times. o Draft, review, and manage sourcing contracts, ensuring clarity on specifications, quality requirements, intellectual property, and compliance. 61 Product Development & Project Management: o Collaborate closely with internal product development, design, and marketing teams to translate product concepts into manufacturable designs, particularly for ODM items. o Manage the sampling and prototyping process, ensuring samples meet design, quality, and functional requirements. o Oversee production schedules and milestones, proactively addressing potential delays or issues. 61 Relationship Management: o Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key overseas suppliers. o Conduct regular performance reviews with suppliers, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement. 61 Travel: o Willingness and ability to travel internationally, primarily to Southeast Asia, for factory visits, trade shows, and supplier meetings.
Qualifications: 61 Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 61 Experience: o Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in overseas sourcing or procurement. o Demonstrable expertise in sourcing ODM products is essential. o Proven experience specifically with gifts, and/or ceramics/ glass/ stainless products is highly preferred. o Strong track record of successful supplier identification, qualification, and relationship management. o Experience with international logistics, customs, and trade compliance. 61 Skills & Competencies: o Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a significant advantage, given the common sourcing locations. o Exceptional negotiation and communication skill. o Excellent project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). o Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and results-oriented approach. o High degree of integrity and ethical conduct.
