1、 Develop new IC devices demo boards for high-speed serial data and clock interconnection. This technology includes various gigabit applications such as PCI Express, Fibre Channel, SATA, SAS, Gigabit Ethernet, and DVI/HDMI. The development process will involve creating schematics and PCBs, and debugging prototype boards. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing technical documentation, including manuals and application notes. When a customer requests a model, you will work with the Signal Integrity (SI) engineer to develop a component model based on characterization data or the simulation results from the Design Engineer. 2、Validation ensures the new IC device meets established engineering specifications, industry standards, and system requirements. This process involves a comprehensive evaluation and testing of the new IC device's performance. You will be responsible for updating checklists and publishing evaluation reports highlighting the products' advantages and areas needing improvement. Collaboration with the system chipset supplier to finish the system validation once required. 3、Support the marketing team in developing New Product Proposals (NPPs) or identifying potential application areas for existing IC devices. Work closely with the Design Engineering (DE) team to troubleshoot application issues related to existing products and recommend application patch solutions as needed. Participate in industry-standard committees and stay informed about new industry trends. 4、 As an application engineer, you will assist customers in integrating the new IC device into their systems. This role includes responding to technical inquiries via email, reviewing customer schematics and PCB designs, helping customers optimize the new IC device settings, and testing customer prototypes as necessary. Additionally, you will provide training to Field Application Engineers (FAEs) for each product line.
