RESPONSIBILITIES: - Keeping in touch with local pre-shipment inspection partners, plan the inspection schedule in accordance with the delivery priorities, - Supervise inspections by third-party bodies, analyze quality problems, discuss with supplier solutions and improvements and take the final decision on releasing or rejecting a production batch for shipment, - Work closely with purchasing staff to establish supplier quality performance criteria and monitor supplier performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports - Carry out process audits on the suppliers and on the suppliers’ subcontractors for critical parts - Make sure that manufacturing processes and test procedures meet international and national standards, - Proactively cooperate in solving quality problems, using process mapping techniques, product/process improvement methodology in order to make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them - Follow up corrective and improvement actions provide by suppliers, discuss steps and implementation, report on their progress, - Supervise the supplier’s technical staff in carrying out tests and checks both on the production line and in a laboratory environment, - Support the product development team in writing product specifications, share typical market happened cases, share best practices case, aim to minimize quality issues both at production and final user stage, - Regularly update quality inspection plans and test procedures,
QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 5yrs experience in quality management - SDA (small household appliance) background is preferred - Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills - Self-motivated and willing to work under pressure - Be proactive in identifying production problems, report to Italy team and be able to resolve problems after - Strong product sense with good technical knowledge is an advantage - Excellent command of spoken and written English, Mandarin is a must - Able to work independently
