About the Role: As a CBRE Facilities Intern, you will work with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that facility tasks and work orders are complete. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. What You’ll Do: 61 Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to make sure they implement and recognize all procedures, policies, and reporting formats. 61 Acknowledge all client inquiries and collect work orders. 61 Collect information reports to find out performance and progress status. 61 File work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors. 61 Monitor activities that happen outside the building, such as proper waste disposal and recycling. 61 Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities. 61 Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion. What You’ll Need: 61 High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program. 61 Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job. 61 Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate. 61 Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. 61 Simple math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
