Job Description Responsibilities 61 Conduct on-site installation of complexed equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure working order accurately 61 Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance visits 61 Provide fixing and repair support for customers and other field service personnel 61 Develop positive working relationships with customers, system users and company personnel 61 Complete and submit field service reports 61 Provide training for users on system maintenance Feedback to product quality teams 61 Provide appropriate input in writing updating and correcting various Thermo Fisher microscope system documentation 61 Have mentorship for various reports including identifying and isolating problems with system 61 Act as a subject guide and resource for training Position Requirements 61 Typically, a university degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrate the required skills. 61 Typically requires >1 year hands on technical experience installing, fixing, repairing and calibrating complexed analysis tools such as SEM, TEM, FIB or similar systems. 61 Excellent interpersonal communication skill 61 Prove ability to fix complexed systems and subsystems down to component level 61 Able to read and interpret schematics 61 Familiar with UHV phenomenon and technology 61 Experience famous service organizations within a medium to large scale company, providing support to equipment customers is preferred 61 Superior influencing and leadership skills is preferred
