Key Areas of Responsibilities ? Performs manual testing within the systems/agile/ development team throughout the whole development cycle ensuring built-in quality ? Provides test expertise to define and drive hardware test strategies and initiatives at feature and system level ? Reviews (functional and non-functional) requirements / stories / features for accuracy and testability ? Consults within teams on test planning and participates, for example, across software and hardware teams, planning and demo activities ? Conducts functional and performance, load and reliability testing ? Documents test plans, protocols, and reports ? Supports design changes for quality impact To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: ? Minimum of 10+ years of experience in manual testing ? Professional who is seen as a leader in the hardware testing within the organization. ? Mentors other staff. Typically, focuses on one or more integrated systems and field testing. ? Provides guidance and enables development in own team. ? Should be able to creates master test plan. ? Testing all aspects of the product/system like functional /component, system, performance, regression and service. ? Work with feature teams to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management ? Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases. ? Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people ? Provides test expertise to define and drive software test strategies and initiatives at feature and system level ? Reviews (functional and non-functional) requirements / stories / features for accuracy and testability ? Consults within development or other teams on test planning and participates, for example, in development team testing, planning and demo activities. Soft-Skills ?
