The Licensing Associate (LA) works with the Renewal Specialist (RS) and Partner Connection Manager (PCM) to secure the customers renewal agreement on time, helping to identify licensing up sell and cross sell opportunities, aligned to the customer need.
The LA will work with the RS to understand the customer licensing position by reviewing their existing licensing portfolio. They will assist to develop a renewal plan, aligned to Microsoft’s Cloud & or licensing program strategy, and provide the best licensing solution for the customer as indicated by Microsoft. The Licensing Associate (LA) will act as the point of contact for the Renewal Specialist (RS) to answer Commercial VL licensing questions raised by the end customer. The LA will create and provide quality checks for any required licensing documentation such as agreement packages. Working with Microsoft approved tools, they will help secure all necessary deal approvals. The Commercial VL programs in their scope of work are, but not limited to, the following:
61 Enterprise Agreements (EA, EAS, SCE).
61 Open program (OLP, OV, OVS).
61 Microsoft Products and Services Agreement (MPSA).
61 New Commerce agreement (CSP, MCA-E).
61 OSPA (China only).
Requirements:
61 In-depth understanding of Microsoft Commercial VL licensing programs EA, MPSA, MCA & CSP
61 Knowledge and experience of Microsoft or other Cloud and Online Services solutions.
61 Experience working with & understanding negotiations in licensing contracts.
61 Excellent communication and analytical skills with the ability to distil complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations
61 Passion for working with Microsoft technology and accredited partners.
61 Experienced in establishing trusted advisor/strategic consultant relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
61 Able to help customers make the best choices in tough macroeconomic environments.
61 2-3+ years Licensing experience with a proven track record of success preferred
61 Experience working with or selling Office 365, M365, Azure, Modern work, Biz apps
