Your Role: This position is responsible for leading activities in the QC team who will engage in quality control activities relating to inspecting the quality of manufactured products from a Semiconductor Material production facility.
Nature and Scope Lead team to manage QC instruments and activities Participate in internal, customer and certification audits. Supervise lab technician for analysis and shift Lab operation. Train lab technicians. Investigate root cause about lab equipment down, define the improvement plan
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Participate in BSP activities as level 1 Perform the incoming/process & final product analysis based on the procedure Support / attend DRB (Discrepant Review Board) activity like meeting, follow action items Support validation of methods Issue MOC for document change Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001 System and take actions related system management Participate in internal, customer and certification audits Investigate root cause about lab equipment down, define the improvement plan Set up & optimize new analytical method & lab equipment Control progress of internal, external calibration for lab equipment. Support qualification activities of new analytical method & lab equipment Perform reliability test of the rejected materials and make recommendation Perform reliability test of requested samples for quality /process improvement Input analytical data for validation & approval in LIMS & SAP Communicate with the related plant for any analytical issues, information, and correlation. Control Lab consumable & inventory without shortage Control standard sample and reagents without shortage Maintain & utilize Lab Equipment Train lab technicians Supervise lab technicians for analysis and shift Lab operation Lead weekly SPC review meeting to review if any OOC, OOT for finished product, RM or not Perform QM planner role like check CoA, UD for re-batch, shelf life extension
Who You Are: At least 7-10 years’ experience in a laboratory or quality control environment is desirable. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Special gas or related field preferred. Certified as a Quality Professional at a minimum completed the ISO9001 QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor Certification. Can certify on the job. Open and transparent for communications. Ability to analyze data, summarize results, troubleshooting issues, and identify solutions and familiar with RCA, 8D, 5Why’s. Strongly accountable and capable to work independently and collaborate in group Familiar with ICPMS, IC, GC,ICP-OES,FTIR and HPLC. Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS Requirements; plus reference for the IATF 16949 English communication skills both written and verbal Knowledge of Word, Excel, LIMS, 6 sigma a plus
