Job Summary: The Continuous Improvement Manager position will drive the execution of the plant continuous improvement initiatives designed to eliminate non-value added activities while improving operational excellence. Assists in the identification and proliferation of manufacturing best practices. Will be responsible for P3 Implementation and support to build an operational excellence culture throughout the focus factory with emphasis on sustainable development.
Job Responsibilities: 01 Managing CI Projects as assigned, typically within a local region or business unit. 01 Performing gap analysis to identify deficiencies in business processes and programs, and recommending adjustments to programs and/or processes. 01 Leads cross-functional project teams formed to implement change and drive continuous improvement. 01 Drives mixed model value stream implementation projects with a focus on continuous improvement of safety, quality, cost, and delivery. 01 Use appropriate problem-solving tools to provide rapid improvement with sustainable results. 01 Ensures adherence to standard processes for data collection, documentation and reporting. 01 Plans budget and manages costs related to operational excellence initiatives. 01 Building project plan to CI projects, including resources, timeline, critical paths, etc. 01 Participating in operational continuous improvement reviews with Local and/or Regional Management. · Build continue impropvement culture(Improvement idea management) 01 Be responsible for lean tool training and lead the knowledge share in site 01 Follow the EHS regulations of the company. Implement the EHS and quality requirement to ensure all actions satisfied with ISO14001、IATF16949 & ISO45001 requirements.
Requirements(Education/Certification/Work Experience/Skills) 01 Bachelor’s Degree or above in engineering required, mechanical/electrical/automation/automotive, Industrial engineering is preferred 01 Minimum 10 years’ experience in operations required. 01 At least 3 years’ experience in a Continuous Improvement function. 01 Must have thorough understanding of cycle time reduction, waste reduction, yield improvement, productivity and throughput improvement. 01 Hands-on experience using Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methods (LEAN, TPM, Six Sigma, KANBAN). 01 Proven leadership skills to coach and lead teams to fully deliver chartered objectives and projects. 01 Project management experience. 01 Proficient with Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint 01 Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills in planning and organizing to handle multiple tasks concurrently. 01 Advanced problem solving capabilities, attention to detail and numerical aptitude.
