Key Responsibilities:
80Serve as a technical interface between the mechanical engineering departments in Germany/Austria and the CPC site in China
80Assess technical requirements of parts and components in close collaboration with our construction and project teams
80Conduct audits and evaluations of local suppliers regarding quality, manufacturing capabilities, and reliability
80Establish long-term partnerships with qualified local manufacturers
80Oversee and manage the entire supply chain – from component sourcing to delivery at our Chinese assembly hall
80Lead and manage a team of up to five technicians with skills in bearing assembly, heavy steel structure installation, and hydraulic piping
80Provide technical supervision and quality assurance during the assembly of our products at the local facility
80Work closely with internal departments in Europe to continuously improve processes and interfaces
Your Profile:
80Technical degree or qualification (e.g. mechanical engineering technician, skilled industrial mechanic, master craftsman, or equivalent)
80Several years of professional experience in the assembly of ball mills, heavy machinery, or comparable industrial equipment
80Proven leadership experience managing assembly or technical teams
80Strong understanding of supplier evaluation, quality control, and supply chain monitoring
80Intercultural competence, ideally with experience in the Chinese manufacturing or industrial environment
80Solid technical expertise to enable detailed communication with engineering leads in Europe
80Willingness to travel within China for supplier audits and on-site inspections
80Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory, plus professional proficiency in either German or English (both verbal and written)
