HKUST(GZ) has obtained approval from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and become a legally-independent educational institution co-established by the Mainland and Hong Kong since the announcement and implementation of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Co-operation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha of Guangzhou”. With a spirit of pioneering innovation, HKUST(GZ) charts new territories in cross-disciplinary education and explores new frontiers in pedagogies, aiming to serve as a role model of the mainland-Hong Kong integrated educational development and become a world-famous high-level university, endeavoring to nurture future-oriented, high-level and innovative talents. In response to the increasingly complex challenges faced by the rapidly changing world, HKUST(GZ) adopts a brand-new and cross-disciplinary academic structure featuring “Hub” and “Thrust” to substitute the conventional one characterized by “school” and “department”, facilitating cross-disciplinary integration while vigorously developing emerging and frontier disciplines. This is a groundbreaking move in the higher education community across the globe. HKUST(GZ) comprises four Hubs, namely Function Hub, Information Hub, Systems Hub, Society Hub and 16 thrusts. The admission of undergraduate students began in 2023, with the *** batch of programs covering artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology and smart manufacturing engineering. Duties 1. Responsible for department procurement, reimbursement, paperwork drafting & translating and other related administrative work; 2. Provide consultation on staff affairs to department and maintain good external relations; 3. Participated in the human resources related work including staff information input and maintenance, staff file sorting and part of the talent service work; 4. Provide support to staff and their accompanying family members on visa application, employment related matters including but not limited to on boarding, relocation, accommodation, schooling, insurance and etc.; 5. Manage probation, contract extension, exit procedure, employment related claims/charges/payments; 6. Other HR related work and other work assigned by superior and head. 任职要求: Qualification Requirements 1. A Bachelor's degree or above, at least 1-3 years working experiences in human resources or related administration discipline. 2. Experience in similar position in university or international platform is preferred. 3. Familiar with laws and regulations related to human resources, and good at operation of personnel administration module of human resources. 4. Proficient in office software, good English reading and writing skills, and able to use English as the working language. 5. Excellent communication skills, organization and coordination skills, reception skills, good team spirit, and ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels; 6. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks toward deadlines, and accurate and attentive to detail. This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST(GZ) entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations.
