Job Scope:
Responsible for the entire direction of human resources development of the hotel. To develop, coordinate and implement overall policies and procedures of the hotel's training, recruitment and personnel. To establish long term planning and strategies for the development of potential employees to cope the expansion of the hotel.
Job Tasks:
1.Identify the industry trends of human resources development and formulates programs to cope with the hotel future expansion.
2.Establish training needs and plans training program for potential employees both locally and international levels.
3.Plans future recruitment strategies for the attainment of qualified personnel according to hotel needs.
4.Formulates policies, procedures and standards on recruitment, training, human resources and grooming.
5.Develops together with other divisional directors, remuneration packages for various key positions.
6.Plans annual budget for training, manpower, and staff benefits and submit for approval
7.Organize trainings for corporate level employees and key management positions.
8.Coordinates annual evaluation for all staff and review appraisals. Follow up or any particulars for further actions.
9.Coordinates with all staff activities in relation to promotion, transfer, reprimand, dismissal and compensation.
10.Responsible to the positive moral of all staff and handles any grievances.
11.Attends all meetings as may be required by the General Manager.
12.Assists in all personnel related activities for recruitment program, manpower planning, hiring process, staff policies in relation to local government. Liaises with hotel training schools for all matters in relation to placement of student after graduation, recruitment of fresh students for the school, referral of potential candidates for further training as well as organizes managers and directors to be the guest speakers for certain courses.
13.Meets with different agencies specialized in hospitality training, various universities with travel-related courses.
14.Obtains information for future planning of training programs for the group. Negotiates and leveled all matters related to the Union.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1.Minimum seven (7) years experience in Human Resources functions, at least five (5) years of which must be in a managerial position in a 4 or 5-star hotel managed by overseas hotel management company.
2.Strong background in employment, employee relations, benefits, wage and salary, employee training, accident prevention, and government regulations and policies as they impact HR.
3.Take an active role in professional HR organizations.
4.Instill a guest service attitude in all employees.
5.Experience in training and developing employees with limited education/experience.
6.Strong organizational skills.
7.Fluency in English spoken and written.
