Responsibilities: 1. Once the project set up, the project manager is responsible to look after every detail of the project. The planning process involves forming a team of experts required for effective completion of the project, stating the purpose of the whole project and assigning the team members specific roles; planning out the resources needed for the project and chart out a budget plan; coming up with a schedule of the project outlining the dates for each milestone. 2. Conduct regular meetings with team members on a daily / weekly basis to know the status of the project, and also to make certain changes and improvements, if necessary, to achieve the desired results; 3. Need to keep track of the order as quality, specs, schedule, etc; 4. Need to keep track of shipments and dates; 5. Developing and maintaining cordial relationships with clients and team members. Acting as a link between both the parties and interfacing with customer as single point of contact, starting with initial involvement at the sales development stage. Dealing with problems that may arise within the project team or issues with the clients; 6. The job of the project manager also involves supervision of whether the team members are working efficiently. Should have the capability to motivate and influence them to put in all their efforts to accomplish the given task successfully; 7. After the project is completed, the project manager should conduct a meeting with the team to evaluate the whole project and to discuss the results. The project manager should identify the key factors that led to the completion of the project and also those that were not beneficial for the project, so that they can be avoided in the future. 8. Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
