General Summary: Merchandiser handles merchandising operation, including product development, cost negotiation, sample approval, order follow-up, and supplier management.
Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Assist for the coordination of daily operational activities in product development, costing and supplier management. 2. Track and manage order processes properly, work closely with related teams to ensure products meet the customer’s requirements. 3. Responsible for product planning process, photo shooting, website content setup and maintain order system. 4. Perform other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Fluency in English (written and oral) - Excellent communication skills - Multi-tasking and independent working ability - Organizing and good time-managing skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint.
Work Experience and/or Education: - Familiar with global retailers, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Aldi, Menards, Amazon (US market preferred) and manufactory supply chain. - Experience with product knowledge relates to hardline like sporting goods and toy is preferable. - University degree preferred.
