Position Overview
Ingeteam is in search of one marine technical sales manager with marine electrical engineering background for marine integrated solutions project with power generation, power distribution large MV/ LV Drive or automation technologies for the Marine, offshore and Oil & Gas industries.
The main tasks of the technical sales manager who takes this position will mainly be techncial sales related tasks for integrated marine electrical propulsion project which will include Ingeteam’s generator, switchboard, drives, motors and industry technology portfolios. Technical proposal preparing, inquiring internal factories and also external suppliers, in order to prepare and complete the technical specification; and complete the technical specification signing with customer. To visit customer when necessary during project bidding period.
Job Description:
o Responsible for the technical sales related tasks for marine electric propulsion system project with scope of power generation and distribution system, drive system, hybrid power system and automation system etc on marine and offshore vessels;
o Prepare the technical proposal according to the bidding document received from customer;
o Inquiring and clarify techncial details with internal manufacturer and external suppliers, to prepare and complete the final technical specifictaion
o Discusss and sign the techncial specification with customer
o Keep the closed communication with HQ sales team for the project cost calculation, budgeteary commerical quotation and official bidding documentation preparing.
o Support project manager during project exeuction period when necessary
o Visit customer for techncial specification discussion during bidding period
o Visit customer during project development period when necessary and support to develop new customer and new opportunities.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience
o A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, or similar
o A minimum of 5 years of Marine electrical relevant experience
o Marine Power system or Drive/Motor System engineering, Commissioning or project management Experience
o Strong organization and excellent time management skills
o Good team cooperation spirit
o Good English verbal and written communication skills
