MARJANE GLOBAL SOURCING SHANGHAI is looking for a SOURCING MERCHANDISER, who will be key person for head office buyer for sourcing and purchase. Main responsibilities and duties: 1. Sourcing of new products and supplier according to the needs from Head Office buyers 2. Market knowledge update (visit regularly Trade Fairs, suppliers show rooms, retail stores) 3. Collection preparation and recommend new items. 4. Price negotiation and making offer. 5. Organization of Business Trip and Following Head Office buyers during Selection Trips (Faire, suppliers show room). 6. Follow Quotation and sampling with suppliers. 7. Product development (OEM). 8. Monitor Product Conformity and handle quality issues. 9. Preparation and Creation PO. 10. Product Validation (Color, size, shape. Function etc) 1. Supplier Management. 2. Ensure PO follow up and delivery on time. 3. And other Export business duties. Qualifications: 1. Autonomous, self-motivated and proactive, 2. Open mind, flexible and good communication skills. 3. Strong organization and problem-solving skills. 4. Minimum 2 years of experience in Sourcing and Purchase of Electric Home Appliance at Foreign Trading Company. 5. Familiar with whole export business procedure (Sourcing, Product development, PO orders follow up, Shipment and Quality Control) at International Foreign Trading company. 6. Strong Negotiation Skills (Price and supplier contract). 7. Focus on details and quick learner. 8. Native Chinese, fluently speaking and writing in English and Mandarin. French or Arabic is a plus 9. Able to travel.
