As LRQA is a fast-paced growth organization, we are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running. Working with leadership in-country and globally, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and strategic advisory services to clients in China on sustainability practices and initiatives.

Leveraging your management consulting background, you will lead a team of consultants, manage client relationships, and deliver high-quality sustainability solutions that effectively grow LRQA Consulting business in China, building and implementing roadmaps to grow with existing customers, and cultivating new prospects.

Responsibilities:

a.) Lead the sustainability consulting practice in China, including managing a team of consultants and overseeing project delivery to ensure high-quality and timely services.

b.) Design and manage our service offerings in China based on different clients’ needs and their sustainability strategies.

c.) Provide expertise on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, sustainability reporting, and disclosure frameworks, supporting clients in meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.

d.) Drive the planning and execution on stakeholder engagement and facilitate regional workshops and training sessions to build awareness, capacity, and engagement around sustainability topics.

e.) Stay up to date with emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices, and guide the team to provide thought leadership and strategic insights to clients.

f.) Develop strong client relationships, act as a trusted advisor, and identify opportunities for expanding service offerings and generating new business.

g.) Strong entrepreneurial spirit and an excellent collaborator; Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and project teams, to understand business challenges, identify consulting opportunities, and develop tailored strategies for clients and unlock the potential of new business models.

h.) Develop and coach team to ensure the best standards of performance, appropriate skillsets and strong succession plans are in place.

Qualifications:
任职资格:
a.) A master’s degree is required. Major in sustainability, environmental science, business, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree can be considered if the other experience and skillset is exceptional.
硕士及以上学历,可持续发展、环境科学、商业或相关专业优先。本科学历的候选人若在相关经验和技能方面有优越表现,亦作考虑。
b.) At least 10 years’ proven experience in management consulting, including developing and implementing business strategies and initiatives for clients, ideally from a top tier consulting firm and/or with a focus on sustainability.
至少有10年的管理咨询经验,包括为客户制定和实施商业战略和举措,拥有著名咨询公司从业经验(如麦肯锡、罗兰贝格、埃森哲等)和/或可持续发展咨询行业经验者优先。
c.) In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and various environmental certifications.
需具备5年或以上团队管理经验或在曾多个项目中担任重要角色(如项目经理),在团队管理或项目管理方面有充足的经验和能力。
d.) Strong understanding of regional and international ESG regulations, policies, and trends, including ESG requirements.
对可持续发展框架、标准和优越实践,如全球报告倡议、联合国可持续发展目标和各种环境认证;及对区域和国际ESG法规、政策和趋势(包括ESG要求)有深入的了解。
e.) Demonstrated expertise in formulating and executing sustainability projects, driving strategic impact for clients.
具有在可持续发展项目制定和执行上的专业知识,可以带领团队推动对客户的战略影响。
f.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability data and metrics.
具有出色的分析和解决问题的能力,能够收集、分析和解释可持续发展数据和指标。
g.) Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills.
拥有强大的利益相关者参与、影响和谈判技能。
h.) Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple client engagements, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
具备强大的项目管理技能,包括管理多个客户参与、设定优先级和满足最后期限的能力。
i.) Excellent communication and presentation skills in both oral and written English and Mandarin, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences, including senior executives.

j.) Self-motivated, driven, innovative, adaptable, and with a mindset of continuous learning, who is willing to contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking work environment.

k.) Can base in Shenzhen or Shanghai is preferred.
