1) Responsible for purchasing strategies of assigned commodities/categories. 2) Team management: Supervising, coordinating and motivating their team. Leading the team to achieve the objectives and build up the team capability. 3) Actively searches for new suppliers & new opportunities to reduce cost and risk, improve quality and service through sourcing, negotiation etc. 4) Evaluate, establish and develop reliable suppliers for quality, service, price and local content requirements, supplier performance improvement. 5) Materials development and management. 6) Take lead on contract review, payment etc. 7) Respond to enquiries concerning questions on import/export. Contribution for cost saving of clearance and logistics. 8) Other duties assigned by manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1) Bachelor degree, major in Mechanical or Engineering. 2) At least 5-8 years working experience in purchasing management in mechanical manufacturing, compressor industry or other related fields is a plus. Familiar with supply Chain whole process. 3) Skill in new supplier sourcing & development. 4) Skill in purchasing, negotiation, international trade. 5) Project Management Skills. 6) Interactive communication skill with external suppliers and internal peers, knows problem-solving methods. 7) Good command of English (spoken and written) 8) Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SAP system.
