EXPLEO is providing professional technical writing service to our global customers. In China, EXPLEO is particularly cooperating with a reputed electric company. As a technical writing specialist, you will lead Techpub projects and provide the customer with quality deliveries within the time limit.
Main Responsibilities： 1. Creating, updating, revising and publishing technical documentation, including installation, operation, and service manuals, User Guide, Replacement Manual, etc. 2. Own and manage the complete end-to-end technical documentation development process from collection of inputs through review to publication internally and externally according to global processes 3. Writing the content in English including the input content review and optimization, En/Cn translation, product & function description 4. Creating the supporting 2D/3D graphics and technical illustrations, transferring the 3D module to 2D graphics and the optimization 5. Communicating with customers to understand their needs, providing them with professional writing proposals
Qualification： 1. Bachelor’s degree or above in English, preferably combined with Technology/Engineering degree or specialization in technical English 2. Minimum 1 years of working experience with technical writing in a global technology company 3. Familiar with the electrical & electronics products, having a theoretical basis on the products 4. Familiar with the creating, updating, revising and publishing process of technical documentation, good at using the writing tools and software 5. Experience using XML-based editor: Arbortext Editor & Oxygen Editor preferred 6. Experience with content management system (CMS): Windchill 7. Experience converting complex 3D models to simple 2D graphics: Creo Parametric, Arbortext IsoDraw preferred 8. Good at Adobe tools: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign preferred 9. Good at MS Visio to create SVG format graphics 10. Experience transforming complex technical information into easily understandable content, 11. High verbal skill, communication skill and team cooperation skill 12. Rigorous, meticulous, curiosity, time management
