Key Responsibilities:

Research and analyze the best international freight options (air and sea) for cargo destined for North and South America, considering factors such as rates, transit times, and reliability of services.
Negotiate and close contracts with shipowners, co-loaders, and other logistics service providers, seeking the best commercial conditions to meet customer needs in a competitive manner.
Monitor the performance of freight service providers, evaluating indicators such as punctuality, cargo integrity, and customer satisfaction to ensure efficient and compliant logistics processes.
Keep up to date with foreign trade laws, regulations, and practices applicable to North and South American markets to advise internal clients on the best international transportation alternatives, considering factors such as costs, deadlines, and specific cargo requirements.
Collaborate closely with the import and export teams to ensure efficient and compliant logistics processes across the organization.
Extensive experience in international logistics, with a focus on the North and South American markets
Profound knowledge of the North and South American markets, including industry trends, regulations, and practices
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills to deliver optimal transportation solutions to destination offices
Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with skills in team development, conflict resolution, and performance management
Strategic vision and ability to align logistics operations with the company's overall business objectives
