ACCOUNTABILITY: This is a 8-12 months contractor role to provide specialized support for assigned tasks, issues and inquiries mainly for China and Korea payroll, time & attendance, compensation and benefit administration, and integrates with COE and Site HR on compensation and benefit planning in APAC for designated countries. Provide research, analysis and resolution on existing issues; and provides analysis and recommendations on closed issues for continuous improvement. RESPONSIBILITIES: 61 Lead monthly end-to-end payroll cycle to ensure accurate and on-time payroll delivery through partnership with vendor 61 Assist implementation of annual compensation processes (merit increase, incentive, etc.) 61 Support COE in administering compensation and benefit surveys 61 Communicate, monitor, and administer benefit programs available to applicable groups of employees 61 Complete employee benefit plan benchmark and survey, create reports, provide analysis and findings presentation 61 Provide technical and operational input on design/redesign and new benefit program additions 61 Provide support to the employee exit process in last payment computation, cost estimation of involuntary termination, etc. 61 Monitor and address overall compliance with government laws and regulations in payroll, statutory benefit and time & attendance. 61 Provide support and resolve assigned issues and inquiries from employee, manager, and HR community 61 Create and update relevant HR knowledge articles 61 Interact with and direct vendors for day-to-day delivery of services, ensures adherence to quality and process requirements and monitor performance against these criteria 61 Identify continous improvement opportunities and implement necessary changes 61 Performs other duties as required REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements): · Bachelor’s degree, preferably major in human resources, accounting or related field · Minimum of 5-year experience in HR with at least 3 years in payroll and benefit administration · Experience in a HR shared service environment (preferred) · Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion · Holds high standards in work quality with problem solving and result-driven mindset · Clearly and succinctly communicates in a variety of settings and styles · Excellent in interpersonal and consultative skills · Proficiency in spoken and written English
