This position is responsible for the operation of a department. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Essential Functions
An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Walmart Cross Border Trade (CBT) team is seeking to hire Business Development (BD) Senior Manager to identify and engaging potential ecommerce sellers through various channels. This role will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding and incubation process for these sellers, ensuring a smooth transition before their stores go live on the Walmart marketplace.
Provide comprehensive support to sellers throughout the onboarding journey, ensuring their comfort and proficiency with the Seller Center and Merchant Policies (MP). Offer guidance on best practices in item setup, fulfillment methods, and operational procedures. Drive high engagement with newly onboarded sellers, setting them up for success prior to the transition to account management teams. Collaborate closely with the account management team to gather requirements and focus on sellers in key categories.
Work in conjunction with various stakeholders and teams across Walmart, both locally and internationally, to maintain business performance. Own a specific business portfolio and develop a strategic playbook for managing business at scale. Develop methodologies for working with internal and external stakeholders to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives. Formulate cooperative strategies with different stakeholder teams to meet the company's acquisition goals, drive conversion through seller incubation, and continuously refine the seller onboarding process.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills in managing and motivating the team, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Lead in managing complex issues, troubleshooting problems, and finding effective solutions. Ensure business needs are met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives. Consult with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders to solicit, evaluate, and apply suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Participate in and support cmmunity outreach events, aligning with Walmart's commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.
Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional leaderships and teams to assess/analyze performance and ongoing pipeline for partners. Collaborates with all business teams to identify gaps (e.g., assortment/mix) based on business needs and goals.
People Development: Builds and leads a team to execute on business goals. Coaches team members and provide feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. Have performance and career development conversations. Maintains team motivation and engagement. Mentors Partnership Specialists.

Entry Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
61 Bachelor degree in business, Business Administration or a related field. Proven experience in managing partners or related roles is required, along with a strong understanding of e-commerce operations and seller recruitment strategies.
Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in using e-commerce platform management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
61 Strong leadership and team management skills. Be able to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and always strive for excellence in all tasks.
61 Self-motivated, results-driven with in-depth experience in e-commerce industry
61 Five years of experience in related area
