Role: 61 Support setting the right inventory BHAG targets by plant in the region 61 Support inventory BHAG targets by plant for the respective region by identifying improvement and reduction opportunities via cleansheets and ideation sessions 61 Challenge and partner with business to execute and deliver the improvements (L1-L4), while engaging operations to drive prioritization of time towards inventory reduction initiatives. 61 Partner and challenge with Operations Directors and Plant Managers on inventory targets with independent OSE view 61 Escalate quickly to BU Inventory OSE lead for any help from BU VP/GMs to deliver BHAG targets 61 Partner with OSE Mfg, Commercial, DM and BU Operations to ensure coordination at plant level and engage resources needed outside the plant. 61 Engage sites where support is needed / follow up actions required with in-person visits / workshops Responsibilities: 61 Collaborate with the plants in preparation of Tenneco Clean Sheet files. o Be the liaison between with plants to drive support needed including expert support 61 Lead Ideation workshops challenging current state obstacles and pursuing sustainable inventory reduction. o Take notes, create timelines, and set due dates to drive accountability of actions created from ideation sessions. 61 Support the business for execution of ideation actions 61 Escalate to leadership (OSE and BU) and business area owners (VP/GMs, Ops Directors) to support the plants in roadblock removal or headwind mitigation. 61 Highlight to leadership where capability gaps need to be addressed across plants in the region 61 Monitor L gate progression in Wave and escalate past due approvals with BU operations and OSE. 61 Understand the initiative values and actualization of values in each workshop. o Push plants to update Wave with real values. o Push plants to update initiatives with Inventory type listed and description of suggested/actual actions to take in comments. Deliverables: 61 Provide weekly data/background and reports as requested by OSE and business leadership. 61 Communicate to OSE Inventory lead and operations directors’ potential risks to achieving inventory and net working capital targets. 61 Continuously improve Tenneco supply chain practices, using internal and external resources as guides. o Offer suggestions on how to improve larger scale activities. o Indentify any common issues / topics across plants o Review intercompany flows and any ideas related to those
