Position Summary The job incumbent manages Innovation Projects (Study, Incubation, Acceleration). He/she manages and coordinates all the required aspects of Innovation Projects (product feasibility, strategic alignment and sustainability) to develop them into market ready solutions.
Main Accountabilities
Project Management for Innovation Projects
84 Manage Innovation Projects, adhering to Innovation Project Management processes as described in MMS 84 Development, engineering of innovative solutions (products, services) 84 Manage projects during all phases (Study, Incubation, Acceleration) of the Innovation Process ranging from analyzing initial ideas with studies right through to planning and executing Market Entry for proven concepts 84 Manage all engineering aspects of innovation projects including: o Concept design and development o Detailed design and prototype development o Testing and relevant documentation o Risk analysis 84 Use project management tools to manage milestones, resources, budget, and technical status (time, quality, cost) 84 Intellectual property: patent applications for ideas generated, patent research/analysis and freedom to operate, development of patent strategies to ensure optimal protection of IP generated during projects 84 Enable and drive decision making in order to move projects forward fast 84 Pro-active approach and push for speed in all aspects / phases of projects 84 Documentation and execution of lessons learned – self-driven approach for continuous improvement 84 Ensure quality of technical and commercial project results 84 Assess, analyse, and make recommendations based on economic feasibility and NPV analysis of projects / innovations 84 Co-ordinate cost analysis and detailed cost calculations of technical concepts 84 Present project status and results to steering committees and upper management, and make recommendations for project further execution based on the Product Equilibrium

Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies) 84 University degree or equivalent education in the field of Mechanical or Process Engineering (or similar degree covering relevant aspects of Technical Innovation and/or Innovation Management) 84 Strong Technological and Business Innovation competence and system understanding in filtration and separation systems. Experience in one of more of the following fields: - Filtration and filtration systems for on and off-highway mobile applications - Industrial filtration (e.g. mechanical engineering, machinery) - HVAC / air purification
