- Report to the Regional Procurement Lead and collaborate to develop country-procurement strategies, goals, and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. Set clear team targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the cross-functional procurement regional team, and ensure they are achieved or exceeded - Develop and implement procurement strategies and initiatives to drive cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier performance - Oversee the management of local procurement operations and lead specific RFP/RFI/RFQ projects as needed. Provide guidance, training, mentoring, and support to team members to ensure they thoroughly understand the business needs, procurement expertise, and project requirements - Ensure high-performance standards for the Local Procurement teams and maintain 100% compliance with regulatory requirements, and company policies, especially those related to anti-corruption and ethical business practices - Collaborate with Local, Regional partners and internal teams to maintain clear and effective communication, meet stakeholder expectations, and resolve operational challenges efficiently - Drive continuous process improvements by leveraging best practices, streamlining procurement processes, and implementing procurement technologies - Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to proactively identify innovation and cost savings opportunities - Prepare and present regular reports, performance metrics, and analyses to the Global Head of Procurement & Regional Procurement Lead as required
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD) are a plus - Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, focusing on strategic procurement and team leadership - Having experience in handling contracts in IT, Professional Services, Travel or Production (Media) is considered an advantage - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, best practices, and market trends - Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team, set objectives, and drive performance - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills - Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Proactive and results-oriented, with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets and KPIs - Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements related to procurement activities - Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite - Completely literate in the English language, with an advanced level in one of the European / Asian languages is a plus (English/German/Spanish/French/Portuguese/Italian/Dutch/Cantonese, Mandarin)
