- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsibility for Goltens Service Sales in North and South China to successfully and efficiently operate in the most professional, diligent and profitable way 2. Further develop and execute service sales and business development strategy. 3. Develop business by promoting and expanding existing segments and developing new service products for existing and new business segments. 4. To strengthen and develop service sales organization in North and South China and review existing processes. 5. Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments 6. Perform sales visits and develop new accounts with strategies to increase market shares in Marine and offshore segment. 7. Provide annual Strategic Business Plan and establishing performance targets in South and North China and business development promoting continuous improvement of operational efficiency, market growth and financial performance. 8. Develop new businesses and propose new services for Goltens China that could include diversification across other market segments 9. Implement and enforce relevant Goltens policies regarding ethics, safety and environmental protection. 10. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in order to process legal issues in a professional manner. 11. Provide a detailed monthly report on sales team performance and any remedial actions required to correct unfavourable trends. 12. In general, provide any reports or documents requested within stipulated timeframes. 13. Communicate and cooperate with the other Goltens business units in an open, honest and efficient way to the benefit of the Goltens Group. 14. In general, carry out your duties as the Senior Sales Manager in the most professional, diligent and ethical manner. - Required skills and experience: 1. Required experience to manage sales team including developing the sales team in a multi-national working environment. 2. Need to be operationally inclined yet market oriented with strong business acumen 3. Proven leadership skills especially from marine segment 4. Understanding of modern management including sales management principals and techniques for individual, departmental and company level performance measurements: target setting with continuous measurement and evaluation of results. 5. Technically inclined with a university degree in mechanical / electrical / marine / naval architecture or engineering or similar. 6. Demonstrated experience with measurable results from having achieved sales operational improvements in a marine/ stationary industry company. 7. Demonstrate the inclination and understanding of the terminology “continuous improvement” preferably through relevant examples from past work experience. 8. Thorough understanding of the China business culture. 9. In-depth knowledge of marine market and preferably including industry stationary power market.
