Part 1 Describe the Position Summary 61 Responsible for end-to-end product lifecycle management of water treatment solutions (municipal drinking water, wastewater, and industrial ultrapure water systems), including new product development (NPD) and localization of overseas products to align with revenue targets and customer satisfaction goals. 61 Lead cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Production, Sales, Marketing) to drive global product introduction, domestic adaptation, and market penetration. 61 Cooperate closely with global team on regular information exchange, new product development and localization projects. A) List the essential functions and major activities in order of their importance 61 Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management o Define product roadmaps for both locally produced and globally sourced water treatment technologies. o Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments to prioritize high-impact opportunities. o Manage product lifecycle stages from ideation to phase-out, ensuring compliance with regional regulations. 61 New Product Development & Localization o Lead NPD projects for domestic markets, from concept validation to launch, including prototyping, testing, and certification. o Localize overseas products: Evaluate technical feasibility, optimize costs, and adapt designs for domestic production and compliance. o Collaborate with global/local R&D and supply chain teams to execute technology transfers and pilot production. 61 Commercialization & Pricing o Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing models, sales enablement tools, and customer training programs. o Analyze production costs, market demand, and competitive landscapes to maximize profitability for localized and imported products. 61 Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration o Partner with Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to align product launches with business objectives. 61 Data-Driven Optimization o Use Python, PowerBI, and Excel to analyze product performance / costs, and customer feedback. o Generate actionable insights to refine features, forecast demand, and improve ROI. Part 2 Describe the Person A) Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience) Benchmark 61 Experience: o 5+ years in water treatment, with expertise in municipal drinking water, wastewater, or industrial ultrapure systems. o 3+ years in product management, including proven success in overseas product localization 61 Education: o Bachelor’s/Master’s in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Water Supply/Drainage Engineering; MBA is a plus. B) Describe the most important competencies required of the individual 61 Technical Skills: o Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, PowerBI, Excel). o Familiarity with IoT-enabled water systems or digital twin technologies is advantageous. 61 Soft Skills: o Exceptional bilingual (English & Chinese) communication for cross-cultural collaboration. o Ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority and resolve complex technical-market trade-offs. o Willingness to travel 30%
