Summary In charge of procurement, pricing, process control and development of respective trade lane
Responsibilities 1.Maintain relationship with carriers, explore market information, expand customer base, win more market share, fulfill annual budget target 2. Conduct regular market research and analysis, release and update shipping price information 3. Feasibility analysis of new route, and organize the implementation of open line plan 4. Standardize business process and organize, supervise, promote the implementation and control risks 5. Propose and reach agreement on objectives and strategies for respective trade lane market development 6. Responsibility for achievement of annual trade lane targets: Volume and GP 7.Primary Trade sales contact and responsible to grow the volume on a specific Trade Lane. Supports Sales team with specific trade know how (and hunt for targeted accounts) 8. Promotion and marketing of freight services to/from respective trade lane in alignment with local sales organizations 9. Organize and support product training 10.In charge of trade lane pricing policies to support market competitive minimum selling rates in order to steer and improve pro-actively: Capacity and allocation management Optimal cost/benefit sales Pricing review with different locations 11.Regularly monitor trade lane performance and service activities and come up with improvements or corrective actions
Qualifications Knowledge Bachelor Degree or above
Skill Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Good negotiation skills; Strong market development and analysis ability; Strategic and operative planning skills; Financial acumen; Good command of oral and written English; Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PPT, etc.
Experience More than 10-year trade experience
