As the Supply Planner, you will execute supply planning activities for high-mix-low-volume products, as well as work with cross-functional teams to ensure that key business metrics are met.
Responsibilities: Planning 61 Independently executes supply planning activities for high-mix-low-volume products 61 Drive consensus process with demand planning to develop production plan for China made instruments 61 Identify and resolve supply exceptions by expediting purchase orders, re-allocating materials and changing production priorities to meet revenue 61 Proactively communicate supply status and potential demand risks with demand planning to ensure sufficient finished goods supply Warranty 61 Independently executes returns activities for instruments, spares as well as components for refurbishment 61 Proactively assess the returns process flow and streamline the process for better efficiency
ECO 61 Manage ECR / ECO activities with Contract Manufacturers and ensure that target turnaround time for impact sheet submission is met
Continuous improvement and reporting 61 Actively engage cross-functional teams and external suppliers to deliver business metrics (e.g. Product Availability, On-Time Delivery, AOP) and drive actions to meet/exceed goals 61 Analyze and report warranty claims data to gain meaningful insights to common failure reasons and other factors that impact warranty cost
Qualifications: 61 Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent 61 Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in Supply Planning 61 Strong knowledge and proficient in Microsoft MS Excel preferred 61 Knowledge of SAP (including SAP APO) preferred 61 Able to collaborate effectively with internal / external stakeholders to deliver expected results to Waters 61 Strong analytical skills, meticulous with keen eye for business and customer focus
