Position Responsibilities 1. Stay updated on changes in financial crimes regulations including AML/CTF/Sanctions/Anti-corruption, develop and optimize the related policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with domestic and international FCC regulatory requirements, including China, US AML/CTF/Sanctions, etc. 2. Oversee the execution of the company’s financial crime compliance policies and procedures. 3. Identify and assess potential aforesaid FCC risks, provide recommendations for risk mitigation. 4. Provide consultation for the company’s new business/product/initiative to ensure its compliance. 5. Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Risk, Legal, Business and other relevant dept. to implement effective controls. 6. Assist CCO/head of Compliance in monitoring domestic and global trends and regulatory developments in the aforesaid financial crimes, and advise senior management to adjust the company's strategies and measures accordingly to adapt to regulatory changes. 7. Regularly report to senior management, corporate committee(s) and shareholder on the progress and risk status of material aforesaid financial crime activities, providing support for decision-making. 8. Conducting related FCC training and awareness programs to enhance employees' risk awareness and compliance capabilities. 9. Assist CCO/head of Compliance in supporting regulatory examinations, audits, and inquiries related to financial crime compliance.
Qualifications 1. Education: o Bachelor's degree or above, major in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields is preferred. Advanced degrees are a plus. 2. Work Experience: o At least 12 years of experience in financial crime-related roles, with solid professional knowledge and extensive practical experience. Professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE) are desirable. o Experience in foreign financial institutions is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of international financial markets and regulatory environments. 3. Professional Skills: o Familiarity with domestic and international financial crime regulations, such as the Anti-Money Laundering Law, Anti-Terrorist Financing law, FATF (Financial Action Task Force) standards, and the US Bank Secrecy Act, FCPA. o Proficiency in AML monitoring systems and tools, with the ability to use data analysis techniques to identify suspicious transactions and risks. o Strong risk identification, assessment, and management capabilities, with the ability to handle complex financial crime cases independently. 4. Language Skills: o Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to conduct work-related communications and write professional reports in English. 5.
