Job Summary:62 The Payroll Officer is responsible for managing the payroll process for the China organization (1-2 scopes in Asia), ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities: -Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations by assigned scopes (among Asia) -Maintain payroll records, including employee information, hours worked, and deductions. -Calculate and process employee benefits, taxes, and other deductions. -Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and relevant departments. -Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, providing clear and accurate information by work with HR Team for providing information. -Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. -Assist in the preparation of year-end payroll reports and tax filings. -Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data and changes are reflected in payroll. -Stay updated on payroll best practices and legal changes affecting payroll processing. -Apply law knowledge to track the compliance of payroll processing and do any advice for improvement
Profile Requirement -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred). -2 years working experience as a Payroll Officer or general human resource or compensation. -Prefer if have knowledge of payroll or human resource software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex). -Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to payroll specially in China. -Excellent numerical and analytical skills. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (mandatory); -Good attitude, ambitious to learn and be learnt, always in selflearning mode -Good English communication skill
