Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee HR compliance, internal operations, and process development who has had exposure to sourcing, supply chain and manufacturing industries. This role requires a highly organized individual who can build efficient internal processes and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversight of HR Compliance & Administration: 80Work with partners to ensure compliance with Chinese labour laws and social insurance regulations for all China Desk employees. 80Oversee employment contracts, payroll, and benefits administration. 80Develop and maintain HR policies, employee handbooks, and onboarding procedures. 80Provide HR guidance to clients on hiring, compliance, and workforce management in China. Operations & Process Development: 80Design and implement internal workflows to improve efficiency in recruitment, HR administration, and client reporting. 80Manage documentation and compliance for secondment arrangements. 80Optimize internal systems and tools, including reporting frameworks and SOPs. 80Ensure seamless coordination between on-the-ground employees, clients, and leadership. Supply Chain Support & Coordination: 80Work closely with supply chain personnel to align HR policies with operational needs. 80Develop and manage a process which handles client inquiries related to supply chain hiring and operations. Client & Employee Relations: 80Act as a key point of contact for both clients and China Desk employees. 80Ensure high levels of employee engagement, performance, and retention. 80Implement improvements to the China Desk service model. 80Build out our internal team structure to support growth. Qualifications & Experience: 80HR Experience: A background in HR and people management is highly essential. 80Supply Chain Industry background: Familiarity with quality management, sourcing, and vendor management processes is desirable. 80Process-Oriented: Experience in developing and optimizing internal operations and procedures. 80Organizational Skills: Highly structured, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workflows. 80Automation and management Software: familiar with internal apps such as Power BI and power automate or similar software. 80Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin; strong interpersonal skills for client and employee interactions. 80Experience: Minimum 5+ years in HR operations, with exposure to supply chain or manufacturing industries preferred.
