Coordination among customers, carriers and suppliers, as well as organising trucking and intermodal shipments and making bookings with carriers and third parties Responsible for receivables, payables, profit sharing and forecasting for assigned spot shipments or accounts Valuing freight and finding routes for freight movement Holistic communication with the customer regarding prices, shipment dates, delays etc. Support function/contact person for specific customers or project operations Assist in the preparation of RFQ and tender responses, as well as reviewing and posting invoices and billing customers Build and maintain strong, long-term client and supplier relationships Conducting and assisting with market analysis on an ongoing basis Follow-up on orders to ensure delivery by the specified deadline Representing deugro at project meetings, sales meetings, proposal clarification meetings, negotiations, kick-off meetings and industry events Supporting the Pricing/Operations department in the preparation Manage and motivate the team to be a developing team, and enable the team keep progressing within their roles Assist Airfreight Manager in handling all Customer Service aspects
What you can contribute:
Bachelor degree and 5-8 years airfreight forwarding industry with 3 years management experience Solid experience in dealing with customer as well as good communication skills Experienced in operating systems, Accounting Systems, Tracking Systems (Cargosoft, Exact, CRM, AXIS etc.) Good people management skill Very good proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) These qualities characterize you: detail- and customer-oriented, analytical, organized Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
