Our client is a logistics provider based in Asia. They are specialized in co-designing and operating
innovative Asian distribution and upstream logistics solutions.
Operating around 40’000 sqm+ around their 2 hubs of the Greater Bay Area (Southern china) and
Yangtze River Delta (Eastern China, providing omni-channel solutions to European brands,
manufactures or industrial Company that are targeting strong development in Asia.
Job Overview
The General Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the overall operations of the
organization. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in supply
chain management, team leadership, and client satisfaction. The incumbent will be responsible for
driving operational excellence, fostering client relationships, and ensuring the continuous
improvement of processes to meet and exceed business objectives.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
61 Develop and execute the company's strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals.
61 Provide visionary leadership to ensure the achievement of short and long-term objectives.
61 Have a keen insight into market changes, keep abreast of the industry situation, and provide
data support and suggestions for the company to adjust its business strategies and improve its
services.
2. Operational Excellence
61 Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations. Lead initiatives to optimize processes and
streamline supply chain activities.
61 Implement and optimize efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.
61 Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in operational
efficiency.
61 Possess a comprehensive understanding of the entire operational process of logistics projects
and demonstrate the capability to lead new business development and implementation.
3. Client Relationship Management
61 Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique requirements.
61 Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
61 Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and problem
resolution.
4. Team Leadership
61 Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team.
61 Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages employee growth and
engagement.
61 Provide guidance and direction to team members to ensure the successful execution of
operational plans.
5. Financial Management
61 Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
61 Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.
61 Analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions to improve profitability.
6. Compliance and Risk Management
61 Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
61 Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential challenges.
61 Stay informed about industry trends and changes, adapting strategies accordingly.
7. Technology Integration
61 Identify and implement technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
61 Stay abreast of industry-leading logistics technologies and recommend appropriate upgrades.
8. Others
61 Support all branches in accomplishing their sales targets when needs
61 Other tasks assign by the superior
61 Business travel is required
Requirements:
61 Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a
plus.
61 English proficiency
61 At least 10 years proven experience in a senior leadership role within the logistics industry.
61 Expert on third-party logistics operations and supply chain management.
61 Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
61 Excellent negotiation & presentation techniques
61 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
61 Good team player
61 With experience to work successfully with people of other cultures
