Job Responsibility:
61 Build a team of Payroll Specialist and manage them in the daily operations of the payroll processes in the region and support payroll specialists in APAC to ensure payrolls are processed accurately, on time and ensuring compliance with local (tax) rules and regulation. 61 Review and approve monthly payroll outputs and ensure timely payments to employees and relevant authorities. 61 *** point of escalation for all payroll related matters, respond to complex payroll issues (and drive issue resolution). 61 Ensure successful partnership and manage relationship with third-party payroll vendors in the region. 61 Manage the BAU team activities and ensure development of the team, support the team in meeting service level agreements and targets. 61 Ensure SOX compliance for the payroll process. 61 Develop a culture of continuous improvement, automation, digitization, adherence, and proactively propose enhancement to Global Standards. 61 Work with the Global Payroll Business Services Leader to assist in and drive improving the payroll processes; this should consider all aspects of the operating model including performance targets, process, people, service delivery model, data, and technology. 61 Work with the Global Payroll Business Services Leader to define payroll requirements to payroll/HR/finance projects, system implementations, transformation or enhancements. Support change management initiatives aligned with overall change management strategy. 61 Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation and efficiencies in the area of Payroll management. 61 Define, communicate, and update (local/regional/global) payroll policies/ procedures end ensure that the payrolls are using a standard approach in line with company policies and internal controls. 61 Perform User Acceptance Testing, document results, ensure user guides are updated appropriately and support training needs.
What do we look for? 61 Bachelor’s degree (BS) in HR, accounting, finance or Diploma in payroll is preferred 61 5+ years if end-to-end payroll processing experience 61 Expertise in international payroll processing including compliance Substantial experience in leading a payroll team and managing team members across different locations. 61 Prior transformation experience preferred. 61 Prior experience working for a public company with US GAAP and SOX requirements strongly preferred. 61 Familiar with ADP and/or Workday, JDE preferred, not required.
