1. Collect and calculate monthly payroll data, liaise with the Payroll Service Provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll calculations, addressing any special cases as needed. 2. Process payroll settlements to the Payroll Service Provider. 3. Generate regular payroll reports, perform data consolidation, verification, and reconciliation for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data quality and timely submission. 4. Collaborate closely work with HR operations and the payroll service provider to implement payroll-related policies and address payroll inquiries from employees within required timeline. 5. Support internal and external audits related to payroll, ensuring that all necessary documents and approvals are comply with internal controls.
Social Insurance and MPF:
1. Maintain company accounts for social security, housing fund and MPF, including the archiving of payment vouchers and providing statistical support. 2. Oversee the payroll service vendor to ensure compliance with local social benefit policies according to labor laws and HK MPF enrollment/adjustment policies. 3. Assist with any social security external audits as required.
ESOP:
1. Calculate ESOP tax. 2. Assist in preparing quarterly reports to SAFE regarding the implementation status of the ESOP. 3. Support ESOP registration with tax bureau. 4. Reconcile monthly ESOP expenses and cashbooks; liaise with the headquarter payroll team regarding expenses. 5. Assist in the collection and payment to ESOP funds to employees.
Tax:
1. Collaborate with external agencies to prepare tax filings for China entities. 2. Prepare tax journal entries and perform tax bridge analysis for month-end closing. 3. Conduct monthly tax accounts balance sheet reconciliations. 4. Assist with tax registration, withholding tax settlements, and outbound remittances. 5. Manage the monthly IIT declaration process.
Others:
1. Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager. 2. On-site arrangement if need.
Requirements : 1. Possess sound HR / payroll function and related policy & regulation knowledge. 2. Bachelor’s degree required. 3. 3 - 5 years of payroll and compensation operations experience in firms or multinational corporations with over 200+ employees. 4. Proficient in Excel and strong command of the English language. 5. Able to work independently in a dynamic & fast pace environment. 6. A team player with good interpersonal skills, self-initiated and results-oriented. 7. Willing to join our payroll & HR Advisory team as a long-term career plan.
