Role Responsibilities: 61 General o Lead Team of HRSS and Payroll Specialist supporting payroll and shared services o Develop and monitor standard operating processes to ensure high quality and consistent service delivery across the employment lifecycle o Actively engage in the continuous improvement of the HR Services Team by using metrics to identify key trends in work volumes, time to complete and data accuracy o Improve and optimize the teams processes, procedures and tools o Handle customer complaints and take the necessary actions to improve service quality o Work closely with HR Business Partners to ensure a seamless service is provided and escalate to the HR Business Partner where appropriate o Analyze data to assess trends and develop actions and recommendations via understanding the service delivery model and the information available for analysis o Collect large and complex amounts of data from multiple data sources 61 Payroll o Overseeing Payroll Procedures for 12Asia Pacific countries to ensure accurate and timely payment of payroll expenses and taxes o Coordinate with the payroll vendor on compliance fulfillment related to statutory benefits contribution and income tax filing o Annual filing of income tax and statutory benefits o Manage and complete all compliance and financial reporting requirements and inquires related to payroll, including but not limited to 84 Special working hours applications 84 Employment statistics reporting (China) 84 Internal and external audits, 84 Employment cost/severance analysis where required and budgeting 61 Shared Services o Participate and/or lead global shared services projects o Provide first line support and guidance to Team Leaders/Managers on campus policies and other regulations including, but not limited to absence management, performance management, benefits, and all HRIS related questions (myHR, Timecard,...) o Management and execution of employment contracts (China) o Employee on boarding and off boarding processes 61 Benefits o Provide guidance and recommendation on benefit programs across Asia working with the global benefits and compensation leader o Manage annual medical plan renewals, ensure market completeness. Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Ensure successful employee communication and roll out of changes where required. o Manage works compensation insurance renewals, annual heath screening and track medical expenses
Qualifications & Experience: 61 7+ years relevant work experience in payroll, shared services and benefits 61 University or College degree in Human Resources. 61 Fluent in English, additional language skills considered an asset 61 Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills 61 Self-starter with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage and contribute to projects 61 Demonstrated influencing skills with ability to gain trust and commitment 61 Strong collaboration, teamwork skills and ability to build relationships and be resourceful 61 Excellent organizational skills and experience organizing successful events 61 Mature judgement, proven ability to build effective relationships across all levels and functions and a track record of successful networking outcomes 61 Collaborative, flexible and adaptable 61 Comfortable working across multiple Business Units, setting expectations and managing competing priorities 61 Passion for innovation and maintains knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends 61 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
